In order to become an Open Water Scuba Instructor (or assistant instructor*) you will need to complete the first* and second parts of the Instructor Development Course. Through independent study, classroom sessions and practical applications you will learn how to construct effective teaching presentations in the classroom, pool, and open water.
Prerequisites
At least 18 years old
PADI Divemaster (or equivalent) for at least 6 months
60 logged dives
Medical clearance with 12 month
EFR Primary/Secondary Care (or equivalent) with 24 months
