PADI Dive Master

Want to turn a hobby into a career? Are you looking to expand your diving skills in order to help and lead others into the Underwater world?

If you answered
Yes, then you are ready to become a PADI Divemaster!


The PADI Divemaster Program is the first leadership level course to becoming a PADI Pro. You will work closely with your PADI Instruction to expand your diving knowledge and develop your skills to the professional level. You will learn how to assist and instructor with training activities and assume responsibilities that benefit the welfare of other divers.


Many PADI Divemasters follow the path to becoming a PADI Open Water Instructor of PADI Assistant Instructor. The training and experience you achieve during the PADI Divemaster course is the foundation in which you will build and develop your attitude and abilities to become a PADI Instructor.

Prerequisites

  • At least 18 years old (15 years old for Jr. Divemaster)
  • PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent)
  • PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
  • Medical clearance within the last 12 months
  • 40 logged dives
  • EFR Primary/Secondary Care (or equivalent) with 24 months

Exit Requirements


  • Dive Theory
  • EFR Primary/Secondary Care (or equivalent) with 24 months
  • 60 logged dives

  • Divemaster Conducted Program Workshops
  • Practical Assessments
  • Watermanship and Diving Skills Assessment
  • Exams
